John Francis Swift, 91, a resident of John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, Mo., passed away peacefully on New Year’s morning, Jan. 1, 2013.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Lee’s Summit Road in Independence, Mo. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 4 p.m. Burial will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Catholic Charities, 2220 Central, Kansas City, KS 66102.
