Frances M. Milburn, 90, Independence, Mo., passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Monterey Park Care Center.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. this morning, November 6, at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St., Blue Springs, 816-229-3276. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the chapel with burial being at Bates City Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or memorial contributions may be made to Continua Hospice, 13002 State Line Road, Leawood, Kan. 66209.

Frances was born June 29, 1919, in Bates City, Mo., to David and Eula (Kitt) Ring. She worked for Alcoa Manufacturing until her retirement. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Mo. Frances was very active in her church and she was an avid gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Her survivors include a sister, Addie Harris of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and a host of nieces and nephews
