Brian David Ostrander, 18 of Oak Grove, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, from injuries received in a car accident.
Brian was born August 13, 1994, in Kansas City, Mo., to David and Barbara (Page) Ostrander and has been a lifelong area resident. He was currently a senior at Grain Valley High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and was involved in track, basketball, robotics and karate. He also enjoyed working on cars and was in the explorer program at Black and Veatch for engineering.
He is survived by his parents, David and Barbara Ostrander of Oak Grove, Mo.; his grandparents, Bob and Karen Ostrander of Independence, Mo., Linda and Mark Wineinger of Oak Grove, Mo., James and Jackie Page of East Alton, Ill.; a great grandmother, Evelyn LeBaron of Vestaburg, Mich., and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services will be 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055, with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 2 p.m., until service time Sunday at the chapel.
