Rodney “Rod” Schaal, 83, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo.
Rod is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Velda Schaal; sons; David Schaal (Michelle), Robert Schaal (Angie), and Steve Schaal (Karla); nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
There will be a service followed by fellowship at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct.7, 2012, at Longview Mansion; 1200 S.W. Longview Park Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.
