Francis “Frank” J. Szutenbach Jr., 67, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Oct. 4, 2012 at his home.  

He was born June 17, 1945, in Chicago, to Ida (Alberico) and Francis J. Szutenbach Sr. On June 12, 1962, he was united in marriage to Leslie Hall; she survives of the home. He was in retail sales for Sears, and attended St. John LaLande Catholic Church. He was a football fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In addition to his wife Leslie, he is survived by son, Michael Szutenbach and wife Angela of Woodland, Texas; daughter, Kimberly White and husband Gary of Blue Springs, Mo., and Pamela Dillard and husband Steve of El Cajon, Calif.; brothers, Lawrence Szutenbach of Virginia, Steven Szutenbach of Colorado; sisters, Vivian Rosini of Texas, Elizabeth Abrasart of Florida, Rita Fasson of Florida, Virginia Douglas of Florida, Rebecca Claridy of Illinois, Doreen McBride of Florida; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Services for Frank will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, 801 NW R.D. Mize Road, Blue Springs, Mo. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Contributions in memory of Frank may be made to Meyers Funeral Chapel to help defray funeral expenses. Memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.meyersfuneralchapel.com.
