Anna Marie Rhyno, 94, Independence, Mo., passed away Oct. 7, 2012.   

Anna was born Dec. 16, 1917, in Newman, Calif., and grew up there.  She lived in California most of her life until 1992 when she and her husband came to Independence to be near their daughter and family.  She was a day care professional who owned her own day care  for many years. She was a member of the church who enjoyed attending concerts, playing catch with her grandson, playing bingo and dominos, sewing and cooking.  

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Marion Rhyno; sister Blanche Morris and brother Harold Albertson. She is survived by daughter Zalfen Colville and husband Mark and grandson Paul Colville all of Independence, Mo. Services will be at 10 am, Wed., Oct. 10 at Farview Restoration Branch, 24th and Vermont, Independence, Mo. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.   

The family suggest contributions to the Center Place Restoration School, 819 W. Waldo Ave., Independence, MO 64050.
