Tonya Zander, 42, of Independence, Mo., passed away January 14, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Shawn, son Justin, two stepsons, Nick Ethridge of Independence and Tayler Zander of Warrensburg; parents Richard and Billie Vaughn of Warsaw, Mo., brother Rick Vaughn, sister Dawn Cason, both of Independence.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements: Heartland Cremation and Burial Society.
