Jewell Faye Mulkey

Jewell Faye Mulkey, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008.

Jewell was born July 6, 1928 to William and Alberta Heishman in Triplett, MO. She was a homemaker.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalla B. Bromley; grandsons, Steven D. Elston, Dallas N. Bromley; and son-in-law, Roger D. Elston.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 38 years, Jerry W. Mulkey of Independence, MO; children and their spouses, Donna Elston of Kansas City, MO, Dudley and Theressa Bromley of Oak Grove, MO, Denise and Ken Capen of Independence, MO; step children and their spouses, Nancy and Danny Francis, Timi and Glen Laggner, Jane and Tim Kern, Christopher Mulkey; 11 great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses, Fern Wright, Wanda and Robert Sims, Nancy and Doyle Cooper, Bill and Joyce Heishman; mother-in-law, Martha E. Mulkey, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 29 at Susquehanna Assembly of God Church in Independence where she was an active 31 year member. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. The family suggests contributions to the church.
