John Ashley

John Ashley, 43, of Independence, Mo., formerly of Oak Grove, died November 5, 2009.
John was born February 21, 1966 In Kansas City, Mo., the son of James Ashley and Connie Jester.
He married Rebecca (O’Neal) Ashley on March 17, 2000.
His whole world revolved around his wife, children and family. He loved camping, motorcycles and his boat.
Survivors include his wife Rebecca Ashley, sons Jordan and Johnie Ashley and also Jeffrey Thoeni. His daughter Brittany Johnson. Stepsons Michael O’Neal, Jacob Myers, Trevor Myers and Dillon Myers. Daughter-in-laws Misti O’Neal and Mallory Walz. Granddaughters Naveya Ann Michelle Thoeni, and Payton Swayze O’Neal. Sisters Lavona Ashley, Cindy Tracy and Tammy Ashley. Brothers Chad Ashley and Jimmy Oxley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and his little dog Shorty. Contact the family for arrangements.
