Wayne Horton, 65, Independence, Mo., passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 15 at Heartland Cremation, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. A visitation will also be at the funeral home and will precede the service, beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to The Kansas City VA Medical Center.
