Betty Louise Wiser, 67, of Humansville, Mo., passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, with her family at her side.
Betty was born Jan. 21, 1946, as one of 5 children to Oliver Cecil and Willa Mae Sapp in Elkton, Mo. Betty and her family moved to Independence, Mo., when she was a teenager and it was there she met and fell in love with her next door neighbor and future husband, Bob. She and Bob lived and raised their family in Independence moving to the Humansville area in 1996 upon retirement. She was a Christian. Betty loved the outdoors, working in the garden and canning the produce, fishing, mushroom hunting, and camping with her husband and family. She enjoyed doing needlework, painting, crafts and was an excellent cook. Her cats and dogs were especially pampered. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Leon and Ricky Sapp.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, of the home; son, Robert Wiser of Collins, Mo.; daughters, Donna Arnold and her husband, Gene, of Humansville, and Debra Turley and her husband, Bruce, of Buckner, Mo.; grandchildren, Blake and Trevor Turley, Bobbie Jo Wiser, and Christopher J. Ethington; great-granddaughter, Ada Marie Ethington; sisters, JoAnne Heskett and her husband, Don, of Humansville, and Virginia Arnold and her husband, Glen, of Flemington.
