Caroline Bryson, 86, born in Ashland, Neb., raised her family in Independence, Mo. She was a homemaker and volunteer worker. Before her marriage she was a “Rosie the Riveter,” making B-26 and B-29 bombers. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Mary Bryson; five grandchildren, Jennifer Everett, Kathy Struve, Scott Bryson, Lisa Powell and David Powell. She also had seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Orbie L. Bryson; mother, Anna Wardyn and sister, Margaret Wardyn. She will be buried in Green Lawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo., next to her husband of thirty-two years. Our thanks to Covenant Hospice for their loving care over the past few months.
