Gary Lee Epps

Gary Lee Epps, 66, of Theodosia, Mo., passed away July 6, 2009. Gary was born July 21, 1942 in Runnells, IA to Lawrence P. and Edith Wood Epps.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol; daughter Cheryl (Steven) Brison of Independence; son Brian (Heidi) Epps of Lee’s Summit; grandsons Gareth Brison, Logan Epps, and Jason Epps; brothers Larry Epps of Ankeny, IA and Jerry (Beverly) Epps of Marietta, GA; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Gary retired from full-time ministry with the Community of Christ, having serving in ministry in Missouri, Michigan, and Arkansas.

Cremation is planned. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, Mo.
