Husley A. “Hus” Lillard, 85, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Independence, Mo., passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.

Hus was born April 29, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo. He was married to his wife Mary Lillard for 53 years.  Hus served Active Duty Army for two terms. Hus retired from SWBT/AT&T after 39 years, and his own Telecom business after 20 years. Hus enjoyed his family, shared his love of history with his family, enjoyed ballroom and square dancing throughout the years with his beloved wife, Mary. He was very active in the Church.

Hus is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Renee King (Duane) and Michele Treece; stepson, Billy Asplint (Karen); three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

His body was donated to science. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hus can be made to Grace Bible Church, church@GBCsuncity.org.
