Randall S. “Randy” Parker, 50, Independence, Mo., passed away Feb. 5, 2013.

Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the chapel.  

Randy was born April 10, 1962, in Independence and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in the Class of 1981. He was a commercial roofer for eighteen years until an accident forced his retirement. He was a huge sports fan – especially the Royals and Chiefs. He had a “green  thumb” caring for plants  and loved his Mustang GT. Most of all, Randy was a devoted father to his children. He was a very generous person.

 Randy was preceded in death by his sister Missy Jennings. He is survived by son Jeremy Parker; daughter Kimberly Parker, both of Independence, Mo.; daughter Stephanie Parker; son Justin Parker, both of Kansas City, Mo.; parents Mary & George Jennings, Independence, Mo.; brother Steven Parker and wife Rita, Holden, Mo.; sister Michelle Parker and husband Greg Wood; brothers Rick Jennings; Matt Jennings; sister Crissy Jennings, all of Independence, Mo.; granddaughters Macy & Alisia and many other family members.
