Laura Beth Reynolds, 16, of Independence, Mo., was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 31, 2009.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at East Side Baptist Church, 19901 E. 78 Highway, Independence, MO 64057. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Laura Reynolds Fort Osage Marching Band Memorial Fund c/o FORCE. Burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Laura was born May 6, 1993, in Independence, Mo., to David and Glenna (Woolf) Reynolds. She was a life-long member of the church and relied heavily on her faith in Jesus Christ. Miss Reynolds was an honor student at Fort Osage High School where she played the clarinet in the marching band. Laura loved music and could normally be found listening to music on her I-pod. Her favorite vacation destination was Branson, Mo.

Laura is survived by her mother Glenna Reynolds; brother Jake Reynolds and his wife Laurel; sister and best friend Jessica Reynolds; 5-month-old nephew Max; maternal grandfather Harry Woolf; paternal grandmother Betty Reynolds; and by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father David Reynolds; maternal grandmother Juanita Clover; paternal grandfather Harold Reynolds.
