Gerald Beardsley, 57, of Cameron, Mo., passed away at his home. 
Jerry was born Dec. 18, 1951 in Independence, Mo. to Fred and Betty Jane (Hammontree) Beardsley. He graduated from high school and two years of college then joined the carpenters union. He completed accelerated training for finish carpentry and later became the superintendent of construction crews for Dalco Construction. Jerry enjoyed fishing and animals, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed shooting pool, traveling, and gambling. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother Fred Beardsley. 
Cremation is planned with services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heartland Men’s Chorus, 4509 Walnut, Kansas City, MO 64111. Condolences may be left for the family at www.speakschapel.com. Arr: Speaks Suburban Chapel, 816-373-3600.
