When Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives Steven Tilley made his choice of Rush Limbaugh for the Hall of Famous Missourians, he did it in secrecy, under cover of darkness – the kind of action a person takes when he is ashamed of what he is doing.

A wonderfully positive thing happened in Independence April 3. An unprecedented 72.2 percent of the voters united to reject another tax increase. This degree of unity, though previously rare, sends a clear message.

In the article, James Everett: “Inequality can catch up with us,” published May 11, 2012, the last sentence offers that the Civil War was not so much about slavery, but economic issues. I guess that he rewrote history to support his claim that the imbalance of the distribution of wealth went against the Declaration of Independence, which says that “all men are created equal,” and that is the cause of the Civil War, which is why there is so much unrest today.
Three Mile Island and Chernobyl catastrophes put a cloud over all nuclear energy development. But there is a better way in providing all our energy needs, and it lies in nuclear power plants, but not at all the way you think.
