To the editor:
The Democrats in the House showed a profile in delusional political courage last week by walking out of the House vote on Attorney General Holder’s contempt of Congress. Where did they think they’d go? Maybe they heard about group rates at an Illinois hotel their fellow Democrats from Wisconsin got when they walked off the job. Who knows?

Former Speaker Pelosi just loves the spotlight of a walk up the steps of the Capitol. Whether it’s carrying a gavel that more resembles Gallagher’s Sledge-O-Matic or holding Charlie Rangel’s hand, the political theater outside of the beltway makes them look quite small and very partisan.

The basis of my personal outrage lies in the fact we have a dead border guard (Brian Terry) and 35,000 dead Mexicans in the last four years that these drug cartels are responsible for and a federal government that supplied the cartels with guns that have been traced at least to Brian Terry’s death. This is more of Eric Holder taking the House (and its subcommittee) on a snipe hunt than a witch hunt by the Congress.
