Police need to do more to respond to calls

To the editor:

I have noticed something about our police department, they play favoritism big time! They act like they are doing something when they really aren’t.

Recently I filed two police reports (eight weeks ago) and nobody has had the nerve to return my phone calls or even answer the phone. They wonder why the citizens don’t trust them. Now we know, nobody answers my phone calls. Something is wrong with this picture. Do you live in a fantasy world that there is no crime?

We have had our bank cards stolen and the police laugh, we have had our mail held hostage and the police again laughed at us and won’t do nothing about it. I bet if it was them going through this they would have caught the person committing the crime, but not for myself or my family.
