The Lord has a plan for marriage

To the editor:

There seem to be a number of articles in regard to marriage and types of marriages as mentioned in The Examiner on Nov. 24 (article headlined “How to adapt to marriage changes?”). Marriages, most of the time, are performed in a church. These marriages are performed with vows that are so written between heaven and earth. Then, there are civil marriages that are performed by judges of the land, respecting the same laws and vows. Both handlings are permissible under the law. The Lord’s plan and law in this matter should be a father and mother in each home. There has been no other plan presented by our Lord, who owns the universe.

These so-called evil marriages or “civil-evil” marriages are many steps away from the law, which upholds the safety of this nation. The Lord has so stated that when the people are ripe in evil-marriages and other misjudgments, he will wipe the people off the face of the land as he did at the time of Noah, not with floods again but with fire. So it is spoken, so shall it be.
