To the editor:
Similar to a child who becomes an adult, a government must embrace change while using caution. Though the task of changing a government’s health-care system is daunting, it is not impossible.
People are suffering every day because of excessive health-care costs; the United States government is also paying the price. The French and Canadian health-care systems give examples in conjunction with current and previous American health policies. Fearing change can be good since it forces caution needed to protect the American people and the best interest of the nation.
