Blue Springs, MO —

1 You have proposed a learning center in Blue Springs. Tell us what it would offer and for whom it would serve? (The learning center) will teach vocational skills through media productions, instruct, counsel and tutor on academic issues to young adults and at risk teens. It will also instruct on basic computer knowledge, tutor on basic elementary and high school academics, musical instruments, edify our youth and young adults with life changing programs such as video productions, stage productions and music productions.

2 Is there a need for this kind of thing in Blue Springs? Yes, all children are not in to sports. So many of our children waste the summers away looking for something to do in TV, video games or out of Blue Springs activities. Most children are into music and know most of the lyrics to all the songs. We will take the negative connotations and energy and create a positive energy using different words and meanings still giving them the opportunity to express themselves with music, or theater drama acting, TV productions and setting personal goals and show them ways to achieve them.
