High school and community activities: Received a varsity letter in swimming for four years; all-conference swimmer; received a varsity letter in cross country for three years; all-conference, all-district and a state qualifier in cross country; received a varsity letter in track for two years; treasurer of the Student Activities Advisory Council; marching and symphonic band section leader; member of the Symphony Orchestra; received “I” ratings on flute trios and flute solo at state music competitions; received a letter in music for four years; participated on church mission trips to El Paso, Texas, and Abbeville, La.; soup kitchen and Project Uplift volunteer; Special Olympic volunteer and piano performer at nursing homes.
1. To what do you attribute your academic success?
God’s gift and extreme dedication.
2. Who was the biggest influence on your studies?
My fellow IB Diploma candidates at school. They helped motivate me to do my best.
3. What college do you plan to attend and why?
University of Notre Dame in Indiana. I plan to major in either International Affairs or Premedical Studies.
4. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years from now?
Probably still single and living in a foreign country spying for the United States.
5. What will you remember most about your high school years?
All the fun times during cross country and swim team, pasta parties and random nights out.
