Quick 5 questions for Erin Ricky

1 How long have you been at Greenbriar and what are the functions of your job?

I have been with The Fountains at Greenbriar for four months. I am involved in introducing and sharing with seniors and their families the benefits of living in our wonderful Independence Living Retirement community. 

2 You grew up in Independence, but now reside in Overland Park. How was your experience growing up here?

I loved growing up in Independence! I graduated from Truman High School and have a lot of beautiful memories of my hometown. I particularly remember participating in City Theatre at The Sermon Center and enjoying that very much. 

3 How has your experience been since you have been back to work at Greenbriar?

I continue to be amazed at the growth of Independence. There are so many things that have changed and improved. I really love how The Square has become more vibrant and interesting. 

4 In a nutshell, how would you describe the residents of the facility?

They are all so special. Each one are individuals with wonderful stories and history. They make me smile everyday. I am so blessed to be a part of their lives. 

5 How about the staff, lead by Executive Director Desiree Rogers?

Our team members here are very loving and caring. They truly have a caring heart for seniors. Desiree Rogers leads by example and is well-loved by all. She is a leader with a servant’s heart.
