To what do you attribute your academic success? My parents and teachers motivated me quite a lot, along with fellow students. It took a lot of effort to achieve salutatorian, and I’m glad I had people to help.

Who was your biggest influence on your studies? My biggest influence on my studies was my chemistry teacher, Mrs. Ross. She made chemistry fun and interesting, which is why I want to pursue a career in chemical engineering.

What college do you plan to attend and why? I will attend the University of Missouri-Columbia in the fall. It has a very good school and is not too far away from home, so I can come back sometimes.

What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now?  In 10 years, I see myself as a chemical engineer for a large corporation. In my spare time, I will be cruising around on my Hayabusa.

What will you remember most about your high school years? The most memorable thing in high school, for me, is the football games. I will always remember my teammates and the tough practices.
