The youngest volunteer, in her first year of helping at the Bingham-Waggoner Estate, is 12-year-old Courtney Sibert, who goes to school at St. John LaLande in Blue Springs. On her right is 91-year-old Bill Gray, who has been a volunteer at the Bingham also for 15 years, and on her left is 92-year-old Virginia Hoare, another first-year volunteer, who helps at the Vaile. The volunteers recently attended a banquet to raise money for Independence tourism.
