Ah Yes!   It is an eerie scene,

Those ghost and goblins of Halloween.



With a rap, rap upon my door,

Tis spooks… two…three, maybe more.



In stature they are quite petite,

As they demand their trick or treat.



Fearing not to obey their stated wish,

I scurried to the kitchen for my goodie dish.



Thankfully that bowl was not bare,

As then I could give each an equal share.



For ghostly creatures they seemed quite polite,

As they quickly scampered into the night.
