Blue Springs Assembly
Blue Springs Assembly will hold a “Great Pumpkin Party,” a family-friendly indoor festival, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the church, 2501 N.E. Duncan Road.
There will carnival games, candy prizes, inflatable slide, and free cotton candy and popcorn. Kids who are sixth graders and younger are invited, and admission is one bag of wrapped candy per child. Summit Grove Community of Christ
Summit Grove Community of Christ is sponsoring a trunk-or-treat and a free indoor Halloween carnival from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the church, 411 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence.
There will be games, cookie decorating, face painting, a haunted house, candy and prizes. Everything is free. The first 70 children will receive a free mini-backpack. Come and enjoy a fun and safe environment for the kids on Halloween.
Cornerstone Church
Cornerstone Church will host a night of free, fun-filled activities for the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the church, 301 E. Route AA, Blue Springs.
The games and activities include blow-up games, hayrides and contests with prizes and a Great Wolf Lodge giveaway. Each child will receive a bag of candy at the end of the evening.

St. Peter United Methodist
St. Peter United Methodist Church is offering treats around the church from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at the church, 3609 S.W. Missouri 7, Blue Springs.
Bring your children and friends, dressed in fun and friendly costumes to a safe, free Halloween alternative. Doorways will be decorated by members of the church with treats, plus games in the fellowship area that will have reward of treats, too.

Liberty Street Community of Christ
Liberty Street Community of Christ will host a free “trunk or treat” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the north parking lot of the church, 416 N. Liberty St., Independence. Children 12 and under are invited to come in costume and bring a bag for their goodies. In addition to treats, there will be refreshments, drawings for prize and hayrides.
Christ United Methodist
A “trunk or treat,” for families with children through the fifth grade, will be held Wednesday at Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th St., Independence.
A hot dog supper will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (free will offering accepted); with trunk or treating from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tour the cars, enjoy games, balloon clown and creative activities.
