Why do we call it “common sense” when it’s not common at all? And why do we think we are free just because we are constantly told we are?We seem to have mixed up things we think it is good for people to do or not to do with things we should force people to do or not to do. We have done this because we lack both common sense and freedom.This has led to mandating rules that negate subjective understanding of individual cases.
