For the first time HoopFocus will host KCvsTHELOU Top Rank Basketball Showcase all-star game that will feature the top 12 college recruits from Kansas City and the top 12 from St. Louis.

Those teams from each city will face off in an all-star game at 6 p.m. Saturday at William Chrisman High School. The doors open to the public at 4 p.m., there will be a 3-point shooting contest at 5 p.m. and a dunk contest at 5:30 p.m.

Team Kansas City will have a photo shoot at 1:15 and will practice at 1:30. Team St. Louis takes pictures at 2:15 p.m. and practice at 2:30.

The St. Louis team will feature top recruits Carte’are Gordon, a five-star power forward from Webster Groves; and Kansas City features Bol Bol, a 7-foot-2, five-star center from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.

Team Kansas City will also include Lee’s Summit West’s Christian Bishop, Park Hill’s Roman Wilson and Ronnie Bell, Oak Park’s Ochai Agbaji and Park Hill South’s Lamel Robinson.  Tickets are available at the door for $5 for students with a student ID, $8 for adults and children younger than 12 are free.

Representatives of Top Rank Basketball will be giving away free T-shirts and gear, and there will also be other merchandise available for sale.
