Jake Lammering had himself a ballgame.

He scored a whopping five goals to help his Fort Osage Indians rout Grandview 9-0 Tuesday.

Chris Diaz, Elijah Markley, Tony Rios and Abasai Torres each had a goal to help Fort Osage improve to 4-0.

“Great start to the week and a nice win for our first home game of the season,” Fort Osage coach Michael Brown said.

OAK GROVE 7, LONE JACK 1: Jacob Leamon notched a hat trick and helped Panthers earn a victory over the Mules in the Panther Cup tournament Tuesday.

Gael Perez, Dalton Smith, Drake Mahurin and Keegan Huff each added a goal. The Panthers outshot the Mules 27-8.

Smith is now the program’s career assist leader with 23 overall and two in this game.

“We had a lot of trouble finishing the ball as you can see with 29 shots and seven goals,” Oak Grove coach Zach Herzig said. “The result was great, but it's also nice to come back out tomorrow and make up for all our missed opportunities.”

On Monday, Oak Grove notched another rout with a 10-0 victory over LaMonte in the tourney opener.

Smith led the Panthers (2-3) with four goals, Leamon and Joel Spencer had two goals apiece and Perez and Ellis Welch had one score each. Oak Grove held a 16-2 advantage in shots.

“It was a great bounce back after a rough week, last week,” Herzig said. “We have been keeping the ball, but struggling to put the ball in the back of the net. Putting 10 goals in today was a great feeling for everyone. Sometimes seeing the ball hit the back of net, is all it takes.”

OLATHE EAST 2, BLUE SPRINGS SOUTH 0: The Jaguars fell to 1-3 after a loss to Olathe East Tuesday.

East scored in the 25th minute and 62nd minute.
