Vaoifi fired a 35 on the par-27 WinterStone Golf Course modified back nine to lead the Indians to a one-stroke victory over Suburban Middle Six foe William Chrisman.
The Indians totaled 186 to Chrisman’s 187.
Chrisman’s Jessica Long was the individual runner-up with a 44.
Leara Wright shot 46, followed by 52 for Kendra West and 53s for Abby Johnston and Megan Hall to complete Fort Osage’s scoring.
Zoe McConnell, who got her first par in competition, shot 45, followed by Aerianna Pazienza (46) and newcomer Carrie Robinson (52) to complete Chrisman’s scoring.
“Very pleased with the improvements I am seeing and excited as the team has been growing since school has started,” Chrisman coach John Beaman said. “We have several new young ladies that are getting their practices in and we hope to have in competition in the weeks to come.”
