The Blue Springs girls golf team warmed up for district play with a victory in a three-team match Thursday.

Lauren Muller and Sierra Heuston each shot 40 as the Wildcats totaled 167 on the par-36 Adams Pointe Golf Club. St. Teresa’s Academy shot 177 and Blue Springs South had a 234 total.

“As we approach districts, today was a good test of tough competition,” Blue Springs coach Jill Courter said. “St. Teresa's will be competing tough for one of the two team spots to move on to sectionals. I was happy with our play today.”

Jordan Marshall shot 42, followed by Alyna Thibault (45), Caroline Duvall (51) and Sophie Mermelstein (55).

Ayden Sackewitz shot 51 to lead Blue Springs South, followed by Sophie Nagel (56), Sarah Elliott (61), Princess Simmons (66) and Ashley Hurn (68).
