The Grain Valley girls golf team clinched at least a share of the Missouri River Valley Conference West title.

The Eagles edged Harrisonville 213-215 Thursday at Adams Pointe Golf Club to improve to 8-2 in conference duals and 11-2 overall.

Harrisonville dropped to 7-2 with one match left. Both of the Wildcats’ losses have come at the hands of the Eagles.

Shelby Kimbrough fired a 49 on the par-36 Adams Pointe course to lead the Eagles to the win. Taylor Hileman shot 52, followed by Hailey Chase (55), Laney Rose (57) and Kailyn Duett (60).

Harrisonville’s Lanie Carl shot 46 to earn medalist honors.

Grain Valley won the junior varsity match 262-267 behind MacKenzie Butler’s 61.
