The Truman boys soccer team had to go to extra time for a win Wednesday.

Keaton Wiley converted the final penalty kick as the Patriots outscored host Staley 5-4 in the shootout to claim a 2-1 non-conference victory over the Falcons.

Korby Ring scored in the second half of regulation time on a penalty kick to send the game into overtime and then scored Truman’s second goal in the shootout.

Raul Romero, Andre Guzman and Austin Montoya also converted in the shootout as the Patriots improved 11-4 overall.
