Lee’s Summit North rolled to a 21-3 halftime lead and never looked back in a 35-3 rout of the Park Hill South Panthers Friday.

Christian Carter scored two touchdowns and finished the first half with 100 yards rushing to lead the Broncos to the fast start.

Carter scored on a 35-yard run and Ontario Russell scored on a 55-yard jaunt off left tackle in which he broke several tackles in the first quarter.

Carter then scored again on a 40-yard run in the second quarter for the 21-3 halftime lead.

John Eldridge scored on a 22-yard run and TreVaunte Hunt added a 15-yard TD run in the second half to help the Broncos improve to 5-3 overall with the non-conference win.

LIBERTY 54, TRUMAN 7: Truman returned a fumble for a touchdown in the second half to avoid the shutout but host Liberty was too much for the Patriots Friday.

The touchdown cut Liberty’s lead to 40-7 as the Patriots dropped to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the Suburban Big Six with their third straight loss.

HARRISONVILLE 41, OAK GROVE 0: Oak Grove dropped to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the Missouri River Valley Conference West with a home loss to Harrisonville Friday.
