Rian Caswell captured a pair of second-place finishes as the Truman girls swimming and diving team captured third in a nine-team meet Wednesday.

The Patriots totaled 121 points to finish behind Belton (410) and St. Pius X (218). William Chrisman (43) finished fifth, while Van Horn (22) was seventh in the meet at High Blue Community Center in Belton.

Caswell claimed runner-up finishes in both the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 55.53 seconds) and 100 breaststroke (1:25.34).

Mikayla Zans also took second in the 50 freestyle (31.97) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:26.50) for Truman, which also took second in the 200 freestyle relay (2:23.90).

Megan Bruch led the way for Chrisman, capturing second place in the 200 freestyle (2:31.97) and fourth in the 100 freestyle (1:09.34).

Lily Polton took seventh in both the 100 freestyle (1:16.86) and 100 backstroke (1:36.48) to lead Van Horn.
