After a disappointing finish at the Park Hill Duals Tournament Saturday, Blue Springs South wrestling coach got what he was looking for Tuesday.

“Big improvement with how the kids came out tonight and what they did from the weekend,” Black said. “I was especially curious to see who would show up as we challenged them in practice on Monday after the weekend performance and the lackluster effort from the weekend. Still making mistakes that are costing us matches and we need to take care of that or it will be a long road ahead with this young team.”

Blue Springs South’s junior varsity also won 39-5.
