Rylan Childers continued her monster season for the Grain Valley Eagles in Thursday’s rivalry game against Oak Grove.

She notched four goals and one assist as her team rolled to a 10-0 victory in the Missouri River Valley Conference West contest.

Raena Childers added two goals, Haley Hunger added a goal and an assist, Marissa Schmitt had one goal and one assist, Abby Berg had a goal and Maddie Knust had a goal.

“Very proud of the girls after another long week,” said Grain Valley coach Tyler Nichol, whose team improved to 6-0-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference. “The unselfish play of this group is fun to watch. The positive mindset and team camaraderie has been on another level so far this year.”

Oak Grove fell to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
