The Fort Osage girls soccer team got three goals from three different players in a 3-0 win against Kirksville in the first round of the Moberly Tournament Friday.

Megan Lyon, Aliyah Ayala and Rachel Newberry each scored a goal as the Indians improved to 7-1 overall.

Fort Osage advances to Saturday’s 9 a.m. semifinal against Winfield.

ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL 2, VAN HORN 1: St. Michael was able to take better advantage of the wind at its back in the second half to hand Van Horn a loss Friday in the Belton Tournament semifinals.

Kayla Sua scored the only goal for Van Horn (5-5) off a corner kick for a 1-0 halftime lead.

The Falcons play Clinton at noon today for third place.

STALEY 4, WILLIAM CHRISMAN 0: The Falcons scored four goals in the first half and the Bears weren’t able to muster one of their own in a Suburban Middle Six Conference loss Friday at Independence All-School Stadium.

Chrisman fell to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Middle Six.
