For the first time since 2004, the Fort Osage girls soccer team is Suburban Middle Six Conference Champions.

The Indians clinched at last a share of the conference title following a 10-0 mercy-rule win over Ruskin Thursday.

Emma Hogland and Rachel Newberry each had a hat trick to lead the offense. Megan Lyon, Ishbel Wilson and Aliyah Ayala scored goals for the Indians (16-2, 9-1).

TRUMAN 1, ST. JOSEPH CENTRAL 0: The Patriots ended a two-game losing streak and go into the Class 4 District 14 tournament with a little momentum following a Suburban Big Six win over the Indians Thursday.

Katie Black scored the lone goal and Cami Maxey and Erin Davis combined for the shutout in goal for the Patriots (7-9, 5-6).

VAN HORN 1, LINCOLN PREP 0: The Falcons ended the season with a 10-12 record after earning a shootout win over Lincoln Prep Thursday.

Van Horn goalkeeper Dasiah Tatum collected 15 saves to lead the effort. Tatiana Stickle, Gloria Guerrero, Canesa Dominguez and Kayla Sua made their penalty kicks in the shootout.
