SEDALIA, Mo. – Anthony Gunn clubbed seven hits in Blue Springs Rod's Sports A's doubleheader Wednesday, including a 5-for-5 effort in the opener, but the Sedalia Post 642 Travelers stifled the A's bats in the nightcap 5-2 to gain a split at Liberty Park Stadium.

The A's (5-1) won the opener 19-5 in six innings. Zane Barr went four innings on the mound for the win, allowing four runs, and he slapped two doubles and a single at the plate.

Meanwhile Gunn's five hits included a home run and double and he drove in six runs. Jackson Caley (double), C.J. July, Jake Lufft and Christian Garcia added two hits each for A's.

Garcia took the loss in the second game, allowing four runs (two earned). Gunn had a double and single, and Lufft bashed a home run.
