Blue Springs Post 499 Fike ended the Branson Tournament with a 3-2 record following a 8-0 loss to Bartlesville (Oklahoma) Saturday at Branson High School.

Scott Vestal was the losing pitcher as he gave up three earned runs on five hits.

Quinton Weld and Grant Lorenzen were the only Blue Springs players to collect a hit.

LEE’S SUMMIT OUTLAWS 0-10, ST. JOSEPH POST 11 3-0: Trevor Key tossed a two-hitter as the Outlaws routed St. Joseph Post 11 for a split of a Zone 2 doubleheader in Lathrop, Mo., Saturday.

Key struck out five in a six-inning complete game.

The Outlaws scored one run in the first inning and two in the second for a 3-0 lead. They ended it early on the mercy rule by scoring seven runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Logan Adams had two hits and Jeremy Root drove in two to lead the Outlaws’ offense.

The Outlaws managed just two hits in the first game, a 3-0 loss.

Justin Hopson suffered the loss, allowing just three hits and striking out five in six innings. Jaxson Hill and Zane Ragland had Lee’s Summit’s only two hits.
