The regular season and Suburban Middle Six finale resulted in a tough Fort Osage loss.
Steven Conrick scored both goals, including the game-winner with four minutes remaining as host Raytown South edged the Indians 2-1 Thursday.
“It was a competitive, evenly matched teams with slippery conditions,” Fort Osage coach Andrew Fletcher said. “The guys gave a good effort. It was a case of where South scored a late goal and we couldn’t come back.”
Brady Smith, on Cody Hunt’s assist, scored the only goal for Fort Osage (8-13, 2-8 Middle Six) that tied the score 1-1 midway in the first half. South improved to 4-16-2 and 2-8.
