A tough start was costly for the St. Mary’s baseball team.
St. Joseph LeBlond scored three runs in the first inning and two in the second and went on to a five-inning 11-1 victory Monday.
“We can’t put any hits together to score,” St. Mary’s assistant coach Roger Hughes said.
The Trojans (5-10) received two singles each from losing pitcher Bobby Brock, Sam Kenney and Drew Huttinger.
