The Fort Osage High School football team earned its second Class 5 state championship game berth in four years by outlasting Ozark 16-7 tonight at Fort Osage.
The Indians rallied from a 7-0 first-quarter deficit to earn their first trip to the Class 5 Show-Me Bowl championship since 2009.
Fort Osage will meet top-ranked Kirkwood, a 42-7 winner over Parkway Central, in the championship game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
