The Central Hockey League announced today that it has suspended Missouri Mavericks forward Trevor Kell for one game as a result of his actions in Saturday’s game against Rapid City.
The CHL said Kell made "unnecessary, avoidable and dangerous contact" with a Rush player during a line change. There was no penalty assessed on the play.
The first-year Maverick will miss his team’s game on Friday night versus Denver.
