The city of Independence is accepting registrations for its third annual Memorial Day weekend tennis tournament on Saturday, May 26.
Registrations are due by May 22. Divisions will include 14U, 16U, 18U, adults and 50-plus, singles, doubles and mixed. The cost is $12 for singles, and $22 for a doubles team.
The tournament will take place at the Santa Fe Trail Park tennis courts, 2731 S. Santa Fe Road. If necessary, some divisions may start the evening of Friday, May 25.
