Former Blue Springs High School and current University of Missouri volleyball standout Lisa Henning is one of four Tigers making the trek to Colorado Springs, Colo., this weekend to try out for the US Women’s National Team, U.S. Women’s National A2 Program and the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team.

The tryouts will take place Feb. 20-22 in Sports Center II at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Joining Henning will be Mizzou teammates Molly Kreklow, Whitney Little and Regan Peltier.

Henning, a two-time All-American outside hitter who graduated from Blue Springs in 2009, was one of 25 right-side hitters to earn an invitation to the tryouts and one of four SEC opposites.
